Duke's Gunsmithing is owned and operated by Mark Smelcer.
Although Mark loves John Wayne movies, the name Duke derived from the nickname
his buddies gave him growing up. Mark's desire to be able to work on guns and the frustration
 of no local gunsmiths led him to the decision to become a
Certified Professional Gunsmith. Mark became a certified professional
gunsmith with a graduating grade of 99. He is licensed for business in White Pine;
which is located in Jefferson County, TN. Mark's main job is a heavy equipment
operator-he has the Gunsmithing business as a secondary job.
Duke's Gunsmithing is just a small operation; but continues to grow from
word of mouth advertising from his satisfied customers.
